Because of his six feet seven height he was affectionately called Tower by his friends and team-mates. Tower’s passion was basketball. He was born on September 26, 1990 in Freeport Bahamas. We named him Ervin Eugene Walkin, He was the second of four children. Our lives were changed forever on August 23rd 2018 when we tragically lost him to gun violence. It was the worst day of my life. He was a devoted father of two and a very loved brother to his three siblings; an amazing grandson, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend. Our hearts still ache for him everyday, no mother should have to endure such pain of loosing their child in such a way; (as being shot) there is a void in our lives that will never be filled. Two little boys that will grow up without a father they adored, 😭😭 I am so thankful to God for the 27yrs we had with him, we have so many wonderful memories that we hold dear to our hearts. We cannot and will not forget his infectious laughter and comforting words, his great sense humor and amazing abilities on the basketball court.. I will always love and remember you Ervin, Kiffie, Tower S.I.P. 💔💔
